A movie NOT to see this Christmas season:
Friends, this is alarming! I've checked this out personally, and it is the truth. On Dec. 7, 2007 a movie, called The Golden Compass, starring Nicole Kidman will come out and be marketed to children as a safe fun fantasy movie. However it's message is to train children to look down upon God and the church--as it has in it ecclesiastical (Church) assassins and ends with the chidlren getting rid of God!
Phillip Pullman, a proud and outspoken atheist who belongs to several secularist societies, wrote the story. He is noted as hating C.S. Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia and has admitted the goal of getting people to distain God. The books to this trilogy have sold 15 million copies worldwide. You must warn those with children around you NOT to see this movie. The Golden Compass will NOT direct you, your kids, or your grandkids to God or the light--but it will allow the darkness to creep into their lives--and during the Christmas season of all times!
We must continue to fight the antagonistic views of secular progressives! If Christians were to create a movie putting down atheists or other groups, we would be spurred as bigots and intolerant. Yet Pullman and THe Golden Compass denegrates God and the church--and it will likely be hailed by critics as a hit! Ban this movie and protest theaters that show it.
